Site Engineering

At Standen Site Engineering and Surveying Ltd we understand the fundamental requirement for geospatial accuracy and precision to the enable success of a scheme. This is from initial Topographical survey right the way through to the final as-builts. Therefore we implement the use of top of the range equipment including a 1” Robotic Total Station, GPS systems, and mapping drones. We also carry AutoCAD and survey software at all times. This means that any requirement can be met when on site. From providing small surveys to volumetric calculations to design checks.

Priding ourselves on the high-level service in which we offer our clients. Providing accurate geospatial setting out in all circumstances. We aim to provide accuracy, precision, speed and consistency on all of our schemes. Meaning that not all our work is carried out on the visit. We carry out desktop research when off site allowing us to set out the maximum amount when on our site visit. This is from creating individual setting out drawings, drawing clash detection, drawing requests to designers and create 3D surface models where required.

With our Site Engineering service, we can also offer surface creation. We create these surfaces from issued designs for machine control. We can also create these surfaces to check and prove correct levels have been installed throughout highways, car parks and floor slabs. These 3D models can also be integrated with survey data to produce Isopachyte surveys showing level differences from a set design. Meaning that as-built checks are quick and efficient.
